Top Xerox Graphic Communications Customers to Gather in Prague for Congress on Business Growth

Press release from the issuing company

Two-day Xerox Premier Partners Congress features learning sessions, networking opportunities and the first European demonstration of the new Xerox iGen 5 Press.

UXBRIDGE, U.K. – More than 200 of Xerox’s top graphic communications customers will gather in Prague, Czech Republic, on Oct. 6-7 for the annual Xerox Premier Partners Congress on business growth. The congress features more than 40 learning sessions led by industry experts, Premier Partners, business partners, start-ups and Xerox executives, as well as networking opportunities and the European debut of the Xerox iGen 5 Press.

“The graphic communications industry continues to be turned on its head by digital technologies, creating great opportunities for firms that can transform the way they work to meet their customers’ changing needs,” said Eric Bouet, European senior vice president, Graphic Communications, Xerox Corporation. “This congress permits our customers to interact with industry innovators and like-minded strategists to share ideas about the latest trends and growth opportunities.”

According to InfoTrends1, the high-end digital production colour market (including cut-sheet and continuous-feed products) will expand from about 270 billion pages today to 509 billion pages globally by 2018, offering a significant growth opportunity for print service providers. A number of the congress’s plenary sessions aim to put that opportunity into perspective. Google’s David Liu will team with Xerox Chief Marketing Officer John Kennedy to discuss, “Where Does Print Fit Within the Marketing Mix?” InfoTrends Group Director Barb Pellow will present on “Reinventing Your Business With the Right Perspective.” And Steve Hoover, chief executive officer of PARC, A Xerox Company, will speak on “How is PARC Innovation Serving the Future?”

Breakout sessions will cover trends in automation, personalization and next-generation inkjet, as well as innovations in packaging and other growth applications. One session highlight will be a demonstration of the new Xerox iGen 5 Press, which has a fifth toner station for better matching corporate colours. Networking opportunities will include dinners each evening in historic Prague.

The exclusive, two-day Premier Partners Congress is part of the three-day Xerox Forum 2015 at the Diplomat Hotel in Prague. The Graphic Communications Reseller Congress, Oct. 7-8, is the forum’s other major component.
